Rules & Policies

This is a family oriented park and we look forward to everyone having a good time. We want all of our guests to enjoy our facilities and have a safe relaxing stay. This will only be possible with your help. Please respect other campers and our park facilities. We reserve the right to protect the rights of our guests, trees, and other natural beauties for the benefit and safety of all.

Parents are responsible for their children's actions. All children are to be under adult supervision during quiet hours.

Campfires are part of the camping experience, however please put them out properly when not attended. All fires must be of reasonable size so as not to endanger anyone or anything.

Parents need to accompany 16 year olds and under at all water facilities. No Lifeguards on duty.

Safe, Slow Driving: Cars, bicycles, and golf carts must observe the 5 MPH speed limit on all park roads. Children are at play throughout the entire park.

Quiet Hours: For the comfort of your neighbor quiet time is between 11:00pm to 8:00am. All children are to be at your site during this time.

Pets are allowed in camp-resort, with the pet owner responsible for cleaning up after the pet and keeping the pet under control. Pets are to be leashed at all times, however not to be chained to your site unattended

Alcohol: The use of alcohol beverages must be in moderation and confined to the camper's site or cabin. No public consumption allowed.

Litter: Please help us keep our park beautiful. Please do not litter.

Unlicensed motorized vehicles: Scooters, mini bikes or ATV's are not allowed in the park. ATV's usage is permitted only to management, for operational purposes.

Fireworks: No fireworks of any kind are permitted in the park.

Throwing of rocks and vandalism is not permitted: Any vandalism or throwing of rocks is cause for ejection from camp-resort.

Excessive noise: Radios, engines, and any other excessive noise is not tolerated. Please respect your neighbor.

Management reserves the right to evict, at our discretion and without refund, any person whose conduct is objectionable or violates park rules. Entrance onto the campground property constitutes permission to photograph visitors while on the premises and to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without compensation to the visitor.

The guest assumes all risks and danger incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoors environment including specifically (but not exclusively), the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities, such as daily activities, swimming at the camping resort. Lake James Camping Resort & Marina, its owners, agents, and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes.
